WHERE PREPARATION MEETS PERFORMANCE

PURPOSE-BUILT SYSTEMS FOR DEMANDING ENVIRONMENTS

We install resinous flooring systems selected according to substrate condition, operational demands, traffic, chemical exposure, moisture, required traction, and return-to-service expectations. We serve commercial and industrial clients throughout Metro Atlanta and Northeast Georgia with disciplined preparation, professional installation, and clear project communication.

WHERE PREPARATION MEETS PERFORMANCE

SYSTEM SELECTION

Designed Around the Operating Environment

Selecting the correct commercial flooring system begins with a measurable assessment of service conditions. Our selection process cross-references operational demands with resin chemistry to ensure long-term substrate adhesion and performance integrity.

Abrasion and Traffic

We evaluate the specific type of traffic - from heavy-duty forklift activity and steel-wheeled carts to high-volume foot traffic - to specify exact aggregate loads and topcoat hardness.

Chemical Exposure

System design considers the concentration, temperature, and duration of chemical contact, utilizing novolac epoxies or urethanes resistant to acids, solvents, and corrosive agents.

Moisture Conditions

In environments with high vapor emission rates or constant wash-downs, we utilize moisture-mitigating primers and vapor-permeable systems to prevent osmotic blistering.

Traction Requirements

Safety is engineered into the surface profile. We integrate fine or coarse aggregates to achieve specific slip-resistance coefficients tailored to wet or oily processing areas.

UV and Exterior Exposure

For areas exposed to direct sunlight or exterior conditions, Aliphatic Polyaspartic and Urethane coatings are specified to prevent yellowing, chalking, or UV-driven degradation.

Return to Service

Operational uptime is critical. Selected SIMIRON fast-cure epoxy, polyurea, and polyaspartic systems support one-day installation and return to service in as little as 24 hours.

SYSTEM CAPABILITIES

Resinous Systems Selected for the Application

We install SIMIRON resinous flooring systems configured according to substrate condition, traffic, chemical exposure, moisture, required traction, environmental conditions, and return-to-service expectations.

Full-Broadcast Flake Systems

Multi-layer resinous systems with decorative vinyl flake, providing durable, uniform, textured finishes for service areas, laboratories, showrooms, workshops, and other high-traffic spaces.

Decorative Metallic Systems

Custom decorative epoxy systems using metallic pigments to create depth, movement, and stone-like effects for showrooms, offices, retail spaces, and architecturally focused interiors.

Quartz and Aggregate Systems

Decorative quartz or aggregate broadcast systems providing enhanced texture, abrasion resistance, and visual consistency for kitchens, healthcare spaces, wet areas, and demanding facilities.

Moisture-Mitigation Systems

Specialized epoxy primers that control moisture-vapor transmission, protecting compatible flooring systems when verified substrate conditions require mitigation.

High-Build Solid-Color Systems

Seamless high-build systems providing durable, cleanable, chemically resistant finishes for warehouses, production areas, utility rooms, aircraft hangars, and other operational facilities.

Resinous Cove and Vertical Applications

Hand-troweled cove and vertical applications that improve floor-to-wall continuity, cleanability, and surface protection in kitchens, healthcare, and processing environments.

SUBSTRATE CONDITIONING

Performance Begins with the Concrete

The condition of the concrete directly affects the performance of every resinous flooring system. We evaluate existing coatings, contamination, surface damage, joints, and indicators of moisture-related risk. Based on those findings and the selected system requirements, the concrete is repaired and mechanically prepared to an appropriate Concrete Surface Profile (CSP), promoting adhesion and reducing the risk of premature coating failure.

Mechanical Surface Preparation

Mechanical preparation removes surface laitance, contaminants, and incompatible coatings while creating the Concrete Surface Profile (CSP) required by the selected resinous flooring system.

Existing-Coating Removal

Failed, incompatible, or poorly bonded coatings are mechanically removed as necessary to expose a suitable substrate for preparation and installation of the new flooring system.

Concrete is dynamic, and no repair method can guarantee that an active or moving crack will never return.

Crack and Spall Repair

Cracks, spalls, pop-outs, and damaged edges are repaired using materials selected for the observed condition and flooring system. Active or structural cracks may require additional evaluation.

Moisture Evaluation and Mitigation

Concrete moisture conditions are evaluated when warranted. Compatible SIMIRON moisture-mitigation primers are incorporated when testing and system requirements indicate that additional vapor control is necessary.

OUR PROCESS

Controlled from Assessment Through Turnover

Assessment and Scope Review

We review how the space is used, the condition of the concrete, existing coatings, expected traffic and exposure, project requirements, and scheduling needs before selecting the system and work plan.

Preparation and Repairs

The concrete is mechanically prepared to the required profile. Cracks, spalls, damaged areas, and incompatible coatings are addressed, with moisture-mitigation components incorporated when project conditions require them.

Controlled System Installation

System components are installed using measured mixing, controlled coverage rates, and attention to pot life, recoat windows, substrate temperature, ambient conditions, and manufacturer application requirements.

Inspection and Return to Service

The completed system is reviewed for finish consistency, coverage, transitions, coves, and other project details. Cure requirements, return-to-service timing, cleaning, and maintenance expectations are then communicated.

PROFESSIONAL ALIGNMENT

Committed to Technical Development

We are a veteran-owned flooring contractor committed to disciplined preparation, sound system selection, and continued technical development. As an AMPP member, we stay connected to recognized practices in materials protection and protective coatings. We install manufacturer-supported SIMIRON systems and approach each commercial project with clear communication, documented requirements, and professional project-management discipline.

Instead of one long credential line, present the credentials as six evenly spaced labels or small badges:

  • VETERAN-OWNED & OPERATED

  • AMPP MEMBER

  • PMP-CERTIFIED LEADERSHIP

  • OSHA 30-HOUR TRAINED
