ONE OF ONE Coatings was founded on a straightforward belief: craftsmanship, integrity, and accountability still matter. Our approach is shaped by more than 25 years of experience in aviation maintenance, technical operations, construction leadership, and the management of complex, high-value projects - environments where preparation, procedural discipline, communication, and attention to detail directly affect the outcome.
Founder Tom Melling is a U.S. Air Force veteran, Project Management Professional (PMP), and holds a master’s degree in project management and pursuing a Doctorate through Liberty University. His professional background developed a methodical approach to planning, quality control, risk management, scheduling, and project communication. That experience influences how we evaluate concrete, identify project requirements, select compatible systems, establish preparation plans, and control the installation process.
As an owner-led company, responsibility does not disappear through layers of salespeople and management. Clients receive clear communication, honest expectations, and direct accountability for the work being performed.
